In combating the effects of COVID-19 on students, Education Gauge for Growth Tanzania donated hand-washing soap and water buckets to Tushikamane Secondary School in Morogoro municipality, to help the school community wash and sanitise their hands.
Items donated included ten five-litre gallons of liquid hand-washing soap and two buckets with a capacity of one hundred and sixty litres of water, each fitted with two taps.
Receiving the items, teachers and students praised EGG-Tanzania for its continuous support. In her note of thanks, the headmistress, Ms Mwazani H. Jambalaga, said they still remember and appreciate the borehole water well granted earlier, which helps greatly with hygiene and the daily water needs of students and the school community.
