EGG-Tanzania was among the key stakeholders of World AIDS Day 2021 in Morogoro, where the Regional Commissioner presented the organisation with a certificate of appreciation.
World AIDS Day 2021 in Morogoro region was officiated by the Morogoro Regional Commissioner, Hon. Martin Shigella, accompanied by the Regional Administrative Secretary, Hon. Mariam Mtunguja, the Morogoro District Commissioner, Hon. Albert Msando, the Morogoro Municipal Mayor, Pascal Kihanga, and the Morogoro Regional Medical Officer, Dr Kusirye Ukio.
The event was held at the Mazimbu Ward office grounds within Morogoro municipality. The theme for 2021 was "Stop Inequalities, Stop AIDS".
EGG-Tanzania, together with other non-governmental organisations and local government from Mazimbu Ward, was among the key stakeholders and participants of the event. During the event the Regional Commissioner handed over a certificate of appreciation to the Managing Director, Mr Jumanne Mpinga, for supporting and participating in the event.
