Mobile trailers built as library rooms travel from school to school, staying a week at each to give secondary students access to books, essay competitions and workshops.
The project uses mobile trailers built as library rooms stocked with books and other publications to facilitate studies for secondary school students. Each trailer is pulled by a special vehicle and left at a specific school, where it stays for a week before being sent on to the next school. Each mobile library is served by a trained officer who manages the service.
The project also involves various supporting programmes such as school surveys, mobile library essay-writing competitions for students and familiarisation workshops.
