In August 2020, with support from IHH, meat from the Qurban was supplied to 2,500 families in Kondoa municipality and the neighbouring village of Unkuku in Dodoma region.
Various people of Kondoa municipality and its neighbouring village of Unkuku in Dodoma region were the beneficiaries of the August 2020 humanitarian aid project carried out by Education Gauge for Growth Tanzania (EGG-Tanzania) with support from the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation of Turkey.
Meat was supplied to 2,500 families. It came from cows and goats slaughtered at the Kondoa municipal abattoir. Most beneficiaries were elderly people, orphans, students and villagers from academic institutions, schools, orphanage centres, religious centres, widows' centres, people with disabilities and other vulnerable people.
The activity is part of EGG-Tanzania's mission of promoting and strengthening the education system by supporting families and students in their social welfare, as part of creating peace and harmony in Tanzanian society.
